Welcome to our summer travel series, where we take the hard part out of vacay planning.

Next Up: Nantucket

STAY: White Elephant Hotel

The White Elephant Hotel is the posh option of Nantucket. Rooms are spacious and classically-appointed, the lawn is wide and inviting, and it’s the only hotel with a pool you’ll find!

STAY: Hotel Pippa

For a more laid back vibe, Hotel Pippa is a relaxed option with bright, airy rooms and a fabulous location, easily walkable to restaurants and shopping.

SHOP: Olivela

Olivela is hosting a super-cool concept shop for the summer featuring emerging designers at a wide range of prices. But a standby favorite is still The Vault, a jewel box of a store owned by Katherine Jetter.

             FEAST: Cru and The Proprietors

For evening cocktails and a sunset over the water, Ariane’s go-to is Cru (Pictured Left), Known especially for their oysters. But for an all-out dinner, she always hits The Proprietors (Pictured Right), a charming, historical restaurant with delicious food and drinks. (Must-Order: The fried broccoli)

EXPLORE: Madaket Beach and Great Point Light House

For an easy way to spend the day, walk over to Madaket Beach. The scenic spot is also host to jaw-dropping homes, making for lots to look at. For a day trip, take a drive to Great Point Light House. But downtown Nantucket is an easy way to fill the day as well, full of shops and cafes.
